Bacon Wrapped Stuffing Bites

Bacon Wrapped Stuffing Bites

13th Jun 2019

Always a must at our family Thanksgiving dinners, these stuffing bites are very tasty. Add chopped pecans and cranberries to the stuffing for another variation. I typically use maple bacon to add another layer of flavour.

2 packages of Farmer John's Stuffing Mixture (choose your favourite)
1 loaf of bread, chopped into small chunks
1/4 cup (60g) butter
1lb of Bacon (We promise you won't regret using maple bacon)
1 1/2 cup (375ml) water

  1. Prepare stuffing as per the instructions on the package (combine stuffing mix, butter and water in a stove top pot. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and combine with the bread).
  2. Line Baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 375 F.
  3. Cut the bacon strips in half.
  4. Form stuffing into balls, approximately the size of a golf ball.
  5. Wrap the bacon around the stuffing and skewer with a tooth pick.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until bacon is done to your liking.

Approximate total time: 1 hour
Yield: 20
